Celebrate the ordination of our parish priest, Father
Don Wilhelm. He will have been ordained for 27 years on May 11th.

We are happy to have Father Don Wilhelm as our parish priest and our
council Chaplain. Happy
and blessed anniversary from all!

celebration of Mothers day and Rose Sunday.
|
Come
celebrate with us at St. Anthony's Church parish Church, 749 Russell
Street, Kincardine. We also celebrate 'Rose Sunday' as we offer roses
to all the women attending mass on Saturday and Sunday. Donations are
accepted in support of the local 'Right to Life' campaign.

The Hot Dog Cart season starts on Monday,
May 21st. This is also "Vicroria day".

The
hot dog season is upon us! This is our main fund raiser for our
local charities.The cart is in Victoria park
and at special occasions in the area. Look for the schedule in your
mail/e-mail for further information.

Knights of Columbus Mass of Thanksgiving.

This
special gathering and celebration is for the Knights of Columbus.
Through their generosity the Martyrs Shrine in Midland has been able to
upgrade of our facilities.

Annual Right to Life dinner.
|
This
year’s Right to Life dinner is being held on Thursday the 25th
atthe Governor’s Inn, Kincardine. There is a fantastic guest
speaker and the cost is $30 each. Begin with a social period at 17:45
and dinner starts at 18:30.

will be operating the hot dog cart throughout the day of the heavy
games. It's fun to watch as well as participate with the operation
of the cart at

Today is Father Michael McGivney's birthday.
|
Blessed Father McGivney was born
on the 12th of August 1852. Please pray for him as the efforts to
canonize him are ongoing. He is the founding father of the Knights of
Columbus and has been elevated to the rank of "Venerable" by Pope
Benedict XVI.

The Hot
Dog Cart season is ending after a lot of hard work and dedication. Your
commitment has paid off and we can continue to assist our local
charities and those in need. Thank you for a great year!

Saint Anthony of Padua School 'Meet and greet' with the
parents.
|
We will be serving up hot
dogs to all in attendance of the 'meet and greet' at the school.
Come meet our school staff, enjoy a 'dog' or two and get to know our
school. Last year we served 26 dozen hot dogs!

Right to life "Life Chain", October 7th.
|
Please come out and
participate in the right to life "Life chain". This is on
Queen Street in Kincardine and starts at 14:00. Come show your
support for life from conception to natural death.

Thanksgiving
on October 8th.
|
Celebrate
Thanksgiving with family and loved ones as we are truly thankful for all
that we have.
|

Bishops annual charity dinner.
|
Help our Bishop raise much needed funds by attending the Bishops annual
charity dinner and silent auction in Cambridge. Dinner starts at 5:30
and it’s only $30 each to enjoy a great meal in good company for an
awesome cause.

Remembrance Day,
11 November.

This is
the time to remember our fallen heroes and those who served or continue
to serve in the pursuit of peace and freedom. Lest
we forget
the sacrifices made for us by them and their families!

Annual Christmas Dinner at the Ripley Legion on November
18th.
|
The
format will be similar to last year's event with a great meal and very
very little speech making.

dog cart has been inspected by members of the hot dog committee and
deemed ready for the season! The schedule
is coming out SOON, so it's time to input your choices. This is our
main fundraiser to assist local charities and those in need so please
register yourselves to help operate the cart.

the Blessed Virgin Mary.
|
Celebrate
the solemnity of the Annunciation as well as the day of the unborn child
with us at Mass.
Normally, Annunciation would fall on Monday, March 25, 2013.
However, since that is the Monday of
Holy Week 2013, the celebration of Annunciation 2013 is
transferred to the day after
Divine Mercy Sunday 2013 (the octave of
Easter 2013), which is Monday, April 8, 2013.

26th will be a historic day for our country as
Stephen Woodworth presents his motion 312 for
discussion - it is such an important day that we are
encouraging anyone who can to be on "The Hill"
praying. Please pass this email to everyone you know
and especially those who can easily make it to
Ottawa.

Students from St. Anthony of Padua school will be
celebrating their first communion during the month.

to celebrate this great event with them and to hand out
rosaries to the children during May.Choice of 3
